meliCERA candles
MeliCERA candles are handmade from 100% pure beeswax, which is collected from the hives of the Melicera family. All materials used are friendly to humans and the environment with NO addition of paraffin or chemical derivatives, making them safe and with a long burning time. We use 100% cotton wick, vegetable soybean (according to EC Regulation No 1272/2008, 29CFR1910 / 1200 and GHS Rev. 3 and modifications, the substance is not classified as dangerous according to the World Harmonized System – GHS), as well as excellent quality fragrance oils which are in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH) giving a warm and timeless aroma. (Candles are accompanied by Safety Data Sheets).
The candles are accompanied by a wooden handmade lid, made by hand by Mr. Giannis in the old carpentry of the family.
Burning tips:
# 1 It is important to leave your candle lit for three hours the first time you light it. This allows the top to melt completely, so that the next time it burns evenly. For best results after the first burn, it is recommended to let the candle burn for 2 to 4 hours.
# 2 If your candle has a lid, we suggest to put it on the vessel always when the candle is not lit. This will keep the dust out of the candle.
# 3 If your wick has been exposed to a large part, then cut the edge. Your wick should always be about 2 mm.
# 4 Avoid moving your candle when it burns and do not leave it exposed to currents of air.Always burn in a well ventilated area.
# 5 Do not blow to extinguish the flame but use a metal object to dip the wick in the created candle pond or extinguish your candle with the special wax extinguisher. This way the wick will not smoke and in the first case, there will be wax left on the wick that will make the next lighting easier.
# 6 Always read the label before use.
# 7 Keep candles away from children and pets.
# 8 NEVER leave a lighted candle without your presence.
# 9 Keep your candles away from things that can catch fire.
For us the buzz of the beess, some fresh bread with our honey on top and the smell of our
